London-based archive British Pathé has appointed Zoe Moore (pictured) as its latest business development manager.

In her new role based out of London, Moore will be responsible for licensing footage from British Pathé’s archive of 85,000 films for clients across the UK, Europe and Asia. She began her role on Monday (July 27).

Moore joins the company from BBC Worldwide (BBCWW), where she worked for 10 years, most recently serving as learning operations manager at BBCWW’s Learning division, where she was primarily responsible for operational activities within the education market.

“With our website, YouTube channels and licensing customers around the world, more people are watching British Pathé newsreels today than at anytime since they stopped being shown in cinemas,” said British Pathé GM Alastair White, in a statement. “Now we have to build upon that and take advantage of this extraordinary opportunity. Zoe will be an important part of this process.”
