The Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival has announced the lineups for a number of its marquee programs, including a world premiere for Sarah Rotella’s Almost Adults in the Women’s Gala section.

The Toronto-shot feature, starring Carmilla‘s Elise Bauman and Natasha Negovanlis, was funded largely through a Kickstarter campaign that raised $120,000. The film is written by Adrianna DiLonardo, produced by Rebecca Swift and directed by Rotella.

Inside Out also named the films to screen in its Spotlight on Canada program, with Richard Lusimbo and Nancy Nicol’s documentary And Still We Rise also set to make its world bow. In addition, the program will feature Stephen Dunn’s Closet Monster, which made its world premiere at last year’s TIFF, Bretten Hannam’s North Mountain , and Mark Kenneth Woods and Michael Yerxa’s doc Two Soft Things, Two Hard Things.

Other films announced for the Toronto festival were Clea DuVall’s The Intervention, which will screen in the Centrepiece Gala, and Olivier Ducastel and Jacques Martineau’s Théo et Hugo dans le même bateau, which screens in the Special Presentations program.

The 26th edition of Inside Out festival runs from May 26 to June 5.
